Maurer Marine reserves the right to change or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice to you. For this reason, please review these Terms of Service periodically or contact us if you have any concerns or questions.

Site Use
By accepting all these Terms of Service through the use of this Site, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 but at least 13, you may use this Site only under the direction of a legal guardian who agrees to be held responsible by these Terms of Service. These responsibilities include all financial charges and legal liability that she/he may incur. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, do not use this Site. Providing any inaccurate information may constitute a breach of the Terms of Service. You agree to pay for and accept the item by confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process and or using the Site.

You should assume all materials (including text, images, illustrations, icons, designs, etc.) that are part of this Site are intended only for personal, non-commercial use. All software used on this Site is the property of Maurer Marine or its suppliers and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128+ bit encryption with PCI DSS Compliance . They are only decrypted after they reach our computer for order processing. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Your security and privacy is very important to us.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. We have several methods in place to accept orders at this time. Of which is subject to change without notice. The first and simplest way is to send us a request via email. The second method would be to place an approved phone order. The last method would be to browse our online store and place an order that way. After you have finished your selection, click on the “Checkout” button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept most forms of payment. This includes cashiers check, cash, credit cards, wire transfer, pay-pal and approved checks/gift certificates. Payment data can be sent to us via email, fax, phone, certified mail or online approved transactions. Credit card or debit card orders are subject to a 3.5% to 5.0% variable administration fee. If you wish to avoid this fee please use our alternate payment options. Please ask if you have any questions prior to payment.

Delivery Schedule
Most orders are processed within 1hr of receiving but not after last hour of operation. We will normally send your order out for shipment the same day or next day of operation. If items need to be ordered with our vendors as we have “no stock” an estimated time frame can be supplied upon request. Please allow 24-48hrs during peak operation times or holidays. Our ordering cut-off from our vendor network is 12:00PM. For will call orders, you will be notified when your order is ready for pickup via phone or email. Delivery time for most orders shipped in the USA will be 1-7 working days. Please be aware that shipping times vary on carrier services and weather that is outside of our control. Please specify if expedited shipping is required. Our standard means of shipments will process UPS ground. Shipping costs are automatically estimated at order placement and finalized at label creation due to frequent carrier changes. If you prefer your parts be shipped USPS or another method please notify us at info@maurermarine so that we may accommodate your request. Shipping discounts or 3rd party billing to be discussed via email when prior to order placement if applicable. If you have any questions, deadlines or have urgency matters we request that you contact us prior to order placement, so that we can verify pricing and availability across the warehouse network.

Back-Orders
If your item is not in our stock, we will put your order on a special request with our OEM network. You will be notified at the time of order placement or within 1-3 working days if your item is not stocked and will require a delay to receive. You will have a one time option to cancel your order within 24hrs of notification. Back-ordered time-frames can no longer accurately be supplied from our OEM networks as it is outside our control. Typical delays are from 60 days to 120 days. If you attempt to cancel the order prior to order shipment from our vendor network cancellation may not incur any fees. If order is already in transit or processed your cancellation request is likely to result in a re-stocking fee and return freight charge set in place by the manufacturer.

If you would like to cancel an order we recommend you contact us right away to limit the possibility of incurring any charges.

Manufacturer Interchanges
Manufacturers will change or “interchange” part numbers outside our control. If you request an item with an outdated part number we will interchange your “outdated” part number request to the most current number available from the supplier if the outdated part number is not available. Your older number may no longer be available or discontinued. We will try to supply the closest match possible in the cycle of part changes. We can not be held liable for inaccuracies or changes set forth by our manufacturers. If you have any concerns or questions regarding super-cessions or interchanges we ask that you contact us so that we may verify said changes.

Tax Charges
All orders picked up or shipping within the state of California will have to pay sales tax. All other orders shipping outside of California are tax free. If you have a resale form, you will need to supply the proper BOE paperwork and a copy of the resale form to be on verified and kept on file.

Parts Details & Policies
Upon request we will offer discounts off MSRP pricing when part numbers are provided prior to order placement.

Price Match
If you find your parts else where with a greater savings we will try our best to match or beat it. Please use caution when ordering parts online from non-dealer sites as many may sell imitation OEM parts, charge extra fees, provide little product knowledge, have a poor returns policy, have high handling charges or bill inflated shipping cost. Factory dealer’s nation-wide need your business and have the best connection for your genuine parts. We at Maurer Marine believe it’s important to support the dealer network and will price match to be a competitive player with e-commerce. Return Policy
There are absolutely no returns or exchanges on any electrical parts, decals, promotional items, special orders, NLA parts and care products opened. We will work to accommodate any return with our customers but our held to OEM return standards. If for any reason a return is needed you may incur a restock fee. In most cases the restock fee will be between 20%. Please be sure of what you need before ordering and contact us if you need any clarifications.

All returns must have a return authorization number for approval and have a copy of your original invoice showing the item for return. Please call or email us prior to re-sending any merchandise back to us so we can promptly handle your request. Any returns send back without prior approval or inaccurate return documentation will be responsible for return freight or will forfeit the return process.

Order Canceling – Part Orders Only
We understand certain situations may arise where an order or parts off an order may need to be canceled. Maurer Marine works extremely hard to fill orders in the shortest amount of time possible. Therefore, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible by sending an email to info@maurermarine.com or calling us at (949) 645-7673. All orders canceled may be subject to a 20% restocking fee based on the specific parts ordered. This fee is based on 20% of the merchandise value. We will work hard to accommodate all customer needs, however, if the order has already entered the shipping process then it will be subject to these fees.

Q: Why is there a restocking fee?
A: There are two reasons for these fees: The shipping fee we encounter due to receiving and returning the unwanted part to the manufacturer. The other is the cost of the restocking fee the manufacturer charges us to accept and re-inventory the part. These fee’s the manufacturer charges are put onto our charge account and are unavoidable. The only case the fee is waived is if the item was shipped damaged or incorrect, otherwise a fee is incurred.

Q: Will I be charged the restocking fee if I am changing the part to the correct one?
A: You will not be charged a restocking fee for replacing the part or parts with the correct items needed, however, there are some exceptions (lower units, powerheads, gear cases, power trim units, top cowlings, etc). Once the order enters the shipping process the order is subject to restocking fees.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item that is damaged, missing or incorrect please contact us right away. Please note that for damaged orders a claim must be filed with the carrier on your behalf. Please document such with the carrier if applicable or refuse the order. Refusal of an order due to no longer requiring the item will incur a return freight fee of which you will be responsible for. If you have any questions please contact us. In order to receive a new shipment of the same order and file for reimbursement with the carrier we are required to submit photos of the box on all sides including the tracking number and any applicable damage. Please retain the shipping box, shipping label and product; then contact us right away. You may send your order # and photos to our email at info@maurermarine.com.

Market Changes
Prices are subject to change due to manufacturer or interchanged part numbers in the event that this happens we will contact you prior to shipping. Over sized boxes (i.e. lower units) will cost slightly more to ship. Prices subject to change without notice, in the event of a price increase/decrease we will contact you prior to finalizing your order. Large or heavy items (ie. power heads) will be sent freight as UPS has limitations. Please allow extra time for package delivery around weekends and holidays.

Please note that Maurer Marine, Inc. is not responsible for expenses, fees or other costs incurred by our customers as a result of defective or incompatible products. In our efforts to provide our customers a complete catalog and parts listing some items may no longer be available for purchase or discontinued from the manufacturer but are still displayed. This also includes upgraded parts or super-cessions.

NLA or Changed Items
Maurer Marine, Inc. will verify every order and make reasonable attempts to locate the needed items. In the event our customers order or request can not be fulfilled we will issue a refund and close the order. If you will be ordering any parts for products older than 15 years it maybe in your best interest to call or email us with your requested items so that we can check the availability. We will make a reasonable attempt to notify you of any NLA items. If we do not hear from you we will close your order and issue a refund if the items are not available. In the event that a partial order is available, we will ship the available items and issue a full refund for the items NLA.

Interchanged Part Numbers
All manufacturers, over time, interchange/supersede old parts for new ones. The main reason for doing so is to improve quality or fix imperfections without losing any of the functionality. All interchanged items are in accordance with the specifications of the original item it was superseded from, but you might expect some minor differences in detail or product packaging. We have no control over a manufacturer’s decision to interchange a part. Please note, in most cases if an interchange part is offered it is because the original part has been discontinued and is no longer available. If you do not want a superseded part or have any questions about availability, please notify us by email or by phone at the time of your order.

Trademark
The Trademarks and logos or images posted on this site are registered and unregistered Trademarks of Maurer Marine and their respected owners. Nothing enclosed on this site should be construed as granting, by implication, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on the Site, or a trademark owned by a third party. In the event that you misuse any Trademark in violation of these Terms and Conditions, Maurer Marine will assertively enforce its property rights to the fullest degree of the law, including seeking criminal prosecution. Images are the respected property of their rightful owners and can not be replicated or used with out express written consent from their owners.

Browser Use
Use of and browsing through the Site is done solely at the user’s own risk. Neither Maurer Marine nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the Site shall be liable for any direct, secondary, substantial, roundabout or disciplinary damages arising out of your access to, or use of, or browsing the Site, or downloading any materials, data, text, images, video or audio from the Site, including, without limitation, damage to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property as a result thereof.
